Emotional Intelligence

Success Women Leaders have high Emotional Intelligence.

Emotional intelligence is a set of emotional and social skills that collectively establish how well we:

  • Perceive and express ourselves
  • Express thoughts
  • Develop and maintain social relationships
  • Cope with challenges
  • Use emotional information in an effective and meaningful way

In this training module you will complete your own EQ-I 2.0 assessment and participate in an interactive session. This session will assist you to understand how Emotional Intelligence is really all about YOU and your inner self. The training will inform and help you apply the EQ-I concepts to real life situations with improved personal and professional success. CliftonStrengths Training Module

In this training module you will complete a CliftonStrengths assessment and learn what are you top 34 talents. It’s the same assessment which was invented by Don Clifton. Through his pioneering research and bestselling books like StrengthsFinder 2.0, the former Gallup chairman and inventor of CliftonStrengths brought the power of positive psychology to every corner of the world.

Personal leadership Level 1

The purpose of Personal Leadership Level 1 (PLL-1) is to enable participants to elevate their personal leadership. Participants will define their own authentic personal leadership style and have set personal success strategies to keep themselves accountable.

Who should take this Training Module?
PLL-1 is designed for working business women or women in leadership position who are interested in becoming more effective authentic leaders and who are dedicated to improving and challenging themselves to take their leadership to the next level. Participants must show courage, openness and a willingness to challenge themselves outside of their comfort one to achieve a higher level of personal and professional success.

Week I: Authentic Personal Leadership
Week II: Your Leadership Journey & Life Story
Week III: Strengths Based Leadership
Week IV: Values, Principles and Ethics
Week V: Optimizing Your Leadership Effectiveness

Course Format
Offered on line PLL-1 participants will meet once a week as a large group on line via Zoom Pro. They will also be assigned to work online with their small triad team. Course work is required that necessitates pre-reading before each week’s session requiring about 30-60 minutes of reading per week. Class discussion will incorporate discussions from outside real business world experiences, case-based discussions in reading work and assessment tools periodically in the 6-week session.


  1. To enable participants to understand their leadership journey and how in reflecting on past experiences informs current leadership practices
  2. To seek to fully engage participants in conversations that lead to greater self awareness and emotional intelligence
  3. To acquire new leadership principles, values and ethical awareness of leading companies today
  4. To better understand the motives behind thoughts, words and deeds in how they lead in business.
  5. To determine and identify personal strengths that assist in being an effective leader
  6. To understand both the intrinsic and extrinsic factors that impact personal leadership
  7. To learn how to engage and inspire others that you lead
  8. To apply leadership practices that shape a transformational culture in your organizations
